How's it going for everyone then?

Doing pretty well myself (or I wouldn't have started the topic Grin)...57 points this week for 230 total and  10,984th place.

Used more transfers than I normally would have this early in the season but as I always seem to get left way behind and then spend the season catching up I thought I'd try a different tactic this time.

Im doing absolute sh1te Mike. Basically, I put my starting team together with about 3 or 4 players who were injured or on international duty cos i didnt do my homework. So got very little points in the first couple of weeks. I've made some transfers now and got a better team but used a stack of transfers and had bad luck every which way. The only way is up!

Startling observation about my fantasy team is......... all players are from just 2 teams!!

Can anyone guess?

Well Liverpool would certainly be one and I'd probably guess at Man City for the other, given the rise in expectation after the players had been valued pre-season.

Another 55 this week and up to 3,767th with 285 points Cheesy. 761st in the goals table. Best start I've had in years.

Only 78 points off the lead....my wife's already spending the £50,000 Grin Grin.

No-one more surprised than me Steve, would have been even better but I had two defenders subbed in the process of clean sheets (Evra and Laursen) and brought in Adebayor as a temp repacement for Torres when I was going to go for R**ney....doh!

The goals are doing it for me, I'm 131 overall in that table.

Cracked the top 1,000 after yesterday's game Grin.

56 in the week for 341 and 885th.

61st in the goals table.

(Sorry if I'm going on but I've got to make the most of it before the inevitable crash & burn)

Telegraph is slow updating yesterdays games....should hold onto a top 1000 place I think....just want to see if I've moved in the Golden Boot table. Was 27th before yesterday and got another four....don't know whether that'll move me up or down.

It's very depressing to be having my best season ever and no-one gives a stuff Cry Cry.

513th now....and even made a little ground on Mr Element, who has ten of the top twenty teams in the league Grin.

Mike, amazing. You should get a bonus for having entered only one team, i dont agree with being able to submit 20,40 teams.

Can you win anything though?

Extremely unlikely I'd have thought Steve....guys like Mr Element have presumably got a fairly solid defence and midfield and can always cover different options up front....plus I'm 100 odd points off the lead.

Better chance than buying a lottery ticket though...

Hi Guys,

A brand new poster who stmbled across the forum looking for............. yeah, the password!

Congrats MikeO on your success to date. I'm currently on 618 in 1408 points so not too far behind. I hate looking at the top of the leaderboard though because I can't imagine myself having the inclination or time or amount of my money and life to spare running 20 teams to challenge the element crew! however much I enjoy the game.

I would find it utterley hilarious if someone with one team won the game and the elements got places 2 -21. that would have to really hurt! Cheesy

Still. i've made more transfers for this week and await to see if I can catch them and you up a bit. Cool

Good luck!
