I strongly recommend people save their transfer's until next week as no one is playing & some players WILL get injured on international duty.  Also some of the players already injured may recover..... use them wisely!!!!!!!!!!!

Good shooting mullet! 907th, how many pts?

I'm 3,842nd with 119, leading an office super league of 33 teams Smiley
Predictably, Terry/Lampard/Ronaldo/Saha main contributors so far...

Thanks Steve.I don't know how everyone else is doing but unlike last season it is my defence that is letting me down.Thank god i have Terry - the only one getting me points.Henry has done nothing for me yet either. If i drop him he is bound to get a hat-trick

Your right, when Henry gets going he is unstopable.... look at last season he must of missed 8 games near the beginning of the season due to an injury and he still got the more points than n e 1 else.  I recommend to cover the cracks in defence & keep Henry you should think about the cheap likes of:

Primus          POR     2.7
Stevanovic    POR     2.9
Melberg         AVL     2.9
R Dunne        MC      3.0
W Bridge       CHE     3.4

Remember the Ashley Cole deal is breaking up so W Bridge who has huge value for money is Chelsea's only left back.... the Magic man won't play Gallas and the transfer window closes tomorrow.

Yes, they look possibles in defence.I think the best thing is not to panic.I have always made changes too hastily in the past.I do have a reasonable defence - Hyppia,Eboue etc - it's just that they keep leaking the odd goal. But as you mentioned, those guys are great value for money and with the spare cash it will go towards strengthening elsewhere.
I think sometimes it's best to steer clear of certain teams because of their squad rotation.I think with the signings Portsmouth have made they will do quite well and Wigan and Man City don't seem to be conceding that many at the moment. So tough this year defensively - they are all so pricey.

I opened my mouth too soon regarding the Ashley Cole deal............ It looks likely that W Bridge will now be dropped from the starting XI to accomdate him.

With Arsenal only having  K Toure as a fit CB (Lauren, Clichy, Senderos injured & Cygon sold to Villarreal) Gallas (Swap + £5m 4 Cole) will be a likely starter at the back.
Reyes out..... Baptista in.

Hammers capture World Cup duo...... Tevez & Mascherano. Unkown in premiership but likely to score points but be highly priced.  Ashton is injured so either Harewood or Zamora will eventually be dropped 4 Tevez.

Pompy...... Who will they play up front now???

Kanu
A Cole
L Lua Lua
B Mwaruwari
S Todorov

All 3 Newcastle strickers are injured.

Managers beware.

Get rid of players who will not be playing week in week out.

Good luck!!!!
